The Sanskrit SamhitaSiddhant Department of college is well distinguished / demarcated into under graduate and Post graduate section. In shubhdeepayurved medical college PG department of Sanskrit SamhitaSiddhant was started since 2012 and there is admission capacity of 5 students per year.

Department of SamhitaSiddhant is one of the pre-clinical department of Ayurveda. This department deals with the study of philosophical, fundamental approach of ayurveda and also deals of classical texts (Samhita) of Ayurveda, their by scientific exploration & validation. This is the only department which is in continuous & regular touch with the students during their whole educational period in this college.

Presently the department is engaged in under graduate and post-graduate level of teaching & research. The aim of this department is to scientifically explore the ancient classical texts and validate them.

This department is mainly concerned with the important samhita’s of Brihatrie and continuous teaches CharakSamhita, ShushutaSamhita&AstangHridayam to BAMS students and makes them aware primarily with the basic theoretical and clinical siddhantic concepts related to Ayurveda in the form of PadarthVigyan and secondarily also makes them familiar with the basic knowledge of Sanskrit and teaching research methodology medical statistics at PG level are the responsibility of this department to prepare new Research scholars and advancement of Ayurveda for accepted Globally.
